TERRY RAY MORBY  1942-2014
Terry was born on October, 2, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah as the 4th child
to Conard H. and Caryl May Morby. He was raised in Salt Lake City and
graduated from Granite High School, class of 1960.
Terry Ray Morby, 72, of Malad, Idaho, passed away on Monday, October 27th, 2014. Terry was born on October, 2, 1942,
in Salt Lake City, Utah as the 4th child to Conard H. and Caryl May Morby. He was raised in Salt Lake City and graduated
from Granite High School, class of 1960. He was an Eagle Scout and lettered all 4 years of high school in football and
baseball and 2 years in wrestling. During his football career at Granite High he was coached by Lavell Edwards who went
on to coach BYU. After graduation he attended Dixie College before joining the Utah National Guard. He married Paula
Ann Deschamps on March 12, 1966 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They made their home in Malad and Boise, Idaho and
Loveland, Colorado. He was a dairy farmer, insurance salesman, restaurant owner and later worked 20 years as a
Corporate Services Director for Marriott Corporation at the Loveland, Colorado Hewlett Packard. At the end of his working
life he was a contract truck driver. Terry loved baseball and played during his youth and early adult years and later
coached little league and pony league teams. He attended every game, in every sport, that was possible to watch his
children and grandchildren over the past 40 years. He was their biggest fan and had great joy in their successes. Terry
was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked tirelessly over the last 20 years of
his life doing temple work for his ancestors and completed research for over 19,000 deceased direct and extended family
members.Terry was always optimistic, caring and selfless and touched the lives of thousands of people. His influence for
good was felt by all and will continue on. He is survived by his wife; Paula Morby of Malad, Idaho. His children; Heath
(Alyssa) Morby of Loveland, Colorado, Pilar Morby of Loveland, Colorado and Justin Morby of Malad, Idaho. 8
grandchildren. A sister; Caryl Bigelow (Jim) of Murray, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and a
sister.
