Amy Lym Crompton

CROMPTON, Amy L. -- passed away in the Evanston Regional IHC Hospital May 26, 1994. She was born March 11, 1904 in Almy, Wyoming, a daughter of Luke and Naomi R.
Lym. Amy was raised in Hilliard and was actively involved with her family in a ranching operation there. She married Theodore R. Crompton April 6, 1927 in Randolph, Utah.
Together they operated a small ranch in the Almy area and were the owners of the Evanston Coal Company. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ted, who died in 1974;
brothers, Eli, William, Thomas, Joseph, and Jess; sisters, Violate Morrow, Mary Barker, and Clara Johnson. Survivors: sons, Clarence (Beatrice) Crompton of Evanston, Wyo.;
Eldon Eugene (Anna Gene) Crompton of Buckeye, Ariz.; daughter: Mrs. Duane (Barbara E.) Nichols of Bountiful; grandchildren: Geary, Kim, Shawn, Leslie, Peggy, Kelly J.,
Phillip W., Kay, Kenny, Sheldon, Theodore, and Annette. Also 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Carl and Glen Lym of Evanston, Wyo.; and
sister, Naomi "Nora" Crompton of Ogden, Utah. Graveside services will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m. in the Evanston Cemetery. Arrangements, Crandall Funeral Home,
Evanston, Wyoming.
