Pearl Eliza Jorgensen Christensen, 90, Grace, died Tuesday afternoon at the Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs. Mrs. Christensen was born Sep.10, 1891, at Ogden, Utah, to Rasmus G.and Thora Jensen Jorgensen. She married Christian Miller Christensen Nov. 10, 1909 in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Christensen died March 31, 1976. She had resided in Central for 61 years, Logan, Utah 27 years, and Grace for seven years. She was a member of the Grace LDS First Ward. She had served as Sunday School teacher, ward organist for 36 years, counselor in the Relief Society for seven years, president of the Relief Society for six years and Relief Society visiting teacher. She is survived by two sons, Orval J. Christensen, Central, and Leo C. Christensen, Grace; five daughters, Mrs. Cora Harris, Lago; Mrs. Luther (Ina)Wilson, Grace; Agnes Christensen, Blackfoot, and Mrs. Edwin (Evah) Smith, and Mrs. Robert (Ruby) Bolton, both of Soda Springs; 31 grandchildren; 114 great-grandchildren; 19 great,great grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Jorgensen, Ogden, Utah and Herman Jorgensen in California; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Hegstrom and Mrs. Rosetta Bond, both of Ogden, Utah, and Mrs. Alfred (Lila) Norris, California. She was preceded in death by one son, Bert.
